A temple fair was held Friday at North Deity Ancient Temple in Bao’an to celebrate Sanyuesan (三月三), the third day of the third month in the Chinese lunar calendar, which is a festival during which ancient Chinese people worshipped gods or deities.

The statue of the North Deity was moved outside for a parade, where visitors watched piaose (飘色), lion and dragon dances, Friday morning.
