Guests experience an epicurean journey of a vibrant mix of flavors and textures from world-famous marketplaces all the way from Europe to the exotic shores of Southeast Asia. The Grand Ballroom was transformed into an enticing world of tantalizing tastes and extravaganza entertainment. Nearly 400 guests with their families indulged in this awesome Wanderlust Market theme brunch.
Inspired by the iconic markets from different parts of the world, Executive Chef Lincoln Lim and his culinary team brought to life 10 exotic markets, featuring a wayfaring gastronomic adventure around Asia, Europe, Middle East and Australia.
Guests were spoiled with choices in this Wanderlust Market with the bountiful selections of delicacies: fresh seafood from Australian fishermen’s catch including Fine de Claire Oysters. Alaskan Crab Legs, Boston Lobster; Kerala-Style Roasted Giant Snapper and curries from India; Tsukiji-inspired sashimi and giant Yellowfin Tuna from Japan; Beirut-Style Slow-Cooked Whole Ouzi Lamb and Emirati Spice Roasted Prime Rib of Beef with Arabian spiced rice and meat stock. The brunch was also complimented with delightful and pleasurable entertainment. Taiko Drums from Japan, modern flash mob and belly dance from the Middle East kept the space lively during the whole noontime. Little ones were kept amused by face-painting artists and many more fun-filled activities by the talented mime. The afternoon was filled with satisfying faces and was truly a blissful family occasion.
