Francophonie Festival to embrace Guangdong this March

Fête de la Francophonie (Francophonie Festival) will once again embrace a number of Chinese cities this year, including Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Zhuhai in Guangdong. During March, a variety of activities centered on French language will be held in to enable more people to learn more about the language and the culture of Francophonie countries.

The Francophonie Festival is associated with sharing values and cultural diversity exchanges, of the French language but also of multilingualism, because speaking a foreign language is much more than acknowledging others.

Organized jointly by the embassies of the States and governments, members and observers, of the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF) and by numerous Chinese partners, the Francophonie Festival in China gathers, yearly, more than 10,000 people around hundreds of events in all domains: music, art, cinema, sport, literature, gastronomy, performing arts ...
