If you want to escape the air pollution of the city and get some fresh air, go to Nankun Mountain. Nankun Mountain is high in the west but low in the east with an average elevation of 500 meters and its main peak, Tiantang Ding, standing at 1228 meters above sea level. Here you can breathe in the fresh air, taste the pure mountain spring water, enjoy the company of lush forests and admire the grotesque peaks and stunning scenery every step you take.
With a mild climate and an annual average temperature of 23℃, Nankun Mountain is warm in winter, cool in summer and delightful in four seasons. Its rainy season falls between April and July with a yearly average rainfall of 2700 millimeters. As one of the few summer resorts in Guangdong province, it is called “Oasis on the tropic of cancer”. Moreover, the high level of negative ion in its air well earns it the name of “a natural oxygen bar”.
