On June 20, 2015 (which is also the Dragon Boat Festival), an activity called “zongzi for father’s love” will be held in Xinghu Scenic Area, Zhaoqing. On that day, tourists who purchase tickets to enter the scenic spot at the east, west or north gates of Seven Star Cave, or at the gate of Dinghu Mountain, can get a zongzi for free. Zongzi is a traditional Chinese food, made of glutinous rice stuffed with different fillings and wrapped in bamboo, reed, or other large flat leaves. They are traditionally eaten during the Dragon Boat Festival, which falls on the fifth day of the fifth month of the lunar calendar (approximately late-May to mid-June).
