Chinese Sexual Culture Museum——Shaoguan
Chinese Sexual Culture Museum in Danxai Mountain attracts lots of visitors every year.
Opened in 2004, Chinese Sexual Culture Museum is located at the foot of picturesque Danxia Mountain in Shaoguan, covering an area of 2400 square meters. The museum is divided into six exhibition rooms with 16 different themes, including sex elements in ancient Chinese characters, ancient sex education, religious culture and sexual culture, art and education books and so on. With more than 2500 pieces of precious ancient exhibits related to sexual culture, the museum displays the vivid ancient sexual culture along Chinese five-thousand-year history.

The appearance of Agarwood Culture Museum
Agarwood Culture Museum, situated in Dongguan city, was officially opened in 2014 with an area of 8800 square meters. Eaglewood, also known as “Chen Xiang” in Chinese, is a dark resinous heartwood that forms in Aquilaria trees (large evergreens native to southeast Asia). It is valued in many cultures for its distinctive fragrance and thus is used for incense and perfumes.
The delicate museum was designed by academician He Jingtang, who also designed China Pavilion in Shanghai EXPO. The museum impresses visitors with top level agarwood from all over the world such as Malaysia, Vietnam and Indonesia. Besides exquisite agarwood, there are also vivid electronic presentations displaying the evolvement of Chinese agarwood culture.

Right under the earth of Heyuan Dinosaur Museum is the sites of the excavation and restoration of dinosaur fossils. The museum has Delivery Room of Dinosaur, Footprints of Dinosaur, Hometown of Dinosaur, and a 3D Cinema. These halls display the holotype of Huangshi Heyuan Dinosaur, dinosaur footprints and also 15,000 dinosaur egg fossils, which help the museum won Guiness World Record of the largest collection of dinosaur fossils. A sauropod dinosaur skeleton, 20 meters long and 9 meters high, is displayed in the central hall on the first floor as well. Halls on the second floor, with the theme of Hakka culture, exhibit precious cultural relics discovered in Heyuan, like three-color clay pots and embroider, furniture and farm tools of the Hakka people.

Guangdong Shiwan Ceramics Museum——Foshan

If you want to learn traditional Chinese ceramic culture and experience pottery painting, there’s no better place than Shiwan Ceramic Museum. The museum is divided into dynamic displaying section and static displaying section. In dynamic displaying section, you can view ancient ceramics techniques and also enjoy the fun of making pottery yourselves! While in static displaying section, numerous historical relics are exhibited.

Bridge Museum, located on south of Guangdong, is where you can know more about Guangdong’s bridges. It is divided into four sections, including Guangdong Bridge Exhibition, China and Overseas Bridge Exposition, Future Bridge View and Bridge Culture Fusion. Sitting on the mountainside and facing grand Yamen Bridge, the museum has become a new attraction of the Pearl River Delta.
